Today in class students worked together to annotate an article about energy, electrical circuits, and magnets. We used an activity to help us determine if a circuit was complete or not, and we watched a Bozeman video clip to explain the difference between series and parallel circuits.

Today in class students completed the PE/KE Interpreting Data quiz, looked at examples of note and project products the students need to produce, and began to review electrical energy and magnets.
In class today students made Motion Test corrections, completed class work from yesterday, and we began to take a look at the answers to that work. We will complete this task and move on to review electrical circuits before moving on to simple machines.
Today in class students worked collaboratively (using accountable talk sentence starters) to complete good review work for power, work, and graphing motion.
Today in class students discussed what we would do without gravity. We reviewed some classroom procedures, and used our thinking skills to apply what we know about motion to a Stickman scenario.
