Yesterday students received a body systems review packet. It has more systems than they need to study, but it is an excellent overview.
Today, on track out day, students took the excretory quiz.
Homework: Enjoy the loooong track out! A couple of days before we return, I suggest you begin to review topics we studied earlier in the year and look over the body system unit as well. End of year testing will be upon us when we return.
Today in class students learned about the excretory system. It can include surprising organs like lungs, liver, and skin too.
Homework: What are the structures of the excretory system? What is homeostasis?
Don't forget to check the resources tab too.
In class today students took the Respiratory System quiz.
Homework: Excretory System quiz Thursday
As promised, here is the quizizz code for today 382453. I will begin the game at 4:05 ish
In class today students took the Interpreting Body Systems Data Quiz (which had all of the answers on it for students to assess) and completed last minute respiratory system notes.
Homework: What does the respiratory system do? How does the respiratory system interact with other body systems?
Quiz Monday on the Respiratory System Be ready to label the structures, know what they do, how breathing actually works, cell respiration, and keeping your lungs healthy.
In class today students mostly completed their research on the respiratory system. Tomorrow they will take the Body System Interpreting Data quiz where all of the answers are on the quiz itself.
Homework: What is the process of cell respiration? How does the respiratory system interact with other body systems?
In class today students continued to research the respiratory system.
Homework: How do muscles and bones help us to breath? (Think about negative air pressure)
