Today in science students took the safety quiz, followed by a discussion about what kind of learner they are, study tips, and how to set up Cornell notes and other electronic formats.
Today in class students watched Accident at Jefferson High and played quizlet live to review safety procedures. Quiz tomorrow!
In class we are done reviewing procedures - everyone did an amazing job during the fire drill today - and we held student officer elections.
Today in class students continued to practice procedures that we will use all year. We discussed the importance of fire, code red, and tornado drills.
Today in class we looked at our new safety contract with the agreement page to be signed, the parent student handbook with its agreement page on the back to be signed, and the student data sheet to be filled out. All three of these need to be filled out, signed, and returned to class tomorrow.
