Today in class students practiced using integers and reviewed the quiz we took Friday. We also reviewed the homework that very few students bothered to check on the weebly.

In class today students worked on their Performance Task page and a Distributive Google form quiz to review for the upcoming test. Check out the scores on power school (if it is available this weekend) and the quiz here on the weebly to review missed items. (Item 1 is your name.)

In class today students completed the Integers Quiz and practiced using distribution and combining like terms with integers. Answers to the class work were given at the end of class.
Sorry this is so late, it turns out I DID have a meeting after school today. Today in class students worked out how to solve order of operations and combining like terms with integers in those terms. Smart block was a good practice time today for this lesson.

It does not impact your overall grade for the quarter, it is just an fyi. Please mouse over the blue dot to see the comment I posted - it is the item(s) from the quiz that you missed. The quiz is linked here so you can view it and re-think your answer. Item 1 is your name. Answers to the HW: (from left to right) 30, 340 feet - 21 degrees F - 550 feet (below sea level) $10 985 years 348 degrees F - 750 feet (below sea level) 186 degrees F 118 years 75 degrees F In class today students, who already know how to multiply and divide, learned one new piece of information - multiplying and dividing integers with the same sign yields a positive answer, while multiplying and dividing integers with different signs yields a negative answer.
Answers to HW: "it is the scenter" In class today students learned about subtracting (combining!) integers. Double negatives make for a positive combination.
